. The United States Holiday of July 4th inspired this work. In this American flag patriotic art I had meshed a bald eagle, an American flag, the numbers “250” which represents the age of the United States in the year 2025, and a horse galloping thru in victory.
This was another experiment with mixed media involving acrylic paints, charcoal, and water color pencils. I named this painting “Traveller” because the horse reminds me of General Lee’s horse named, Traveller that he rode during the American civil war. The American flag patriotic art is completed on a 20″ x 20″ x 1″ wood cradle board.
